For all the things that went wrong musically in 2011—we’re looking at you rehashed 90s R&B and Loutallica—David Comes to Life went right. Tonight, Fucked Up will play an unabridged version of the heaving rock opera in the round, increasing audience members’ chances of being slapped by Damian Abraham’s belly by 15 percent. Because you can never have too many intellectual punk bands winning your heart, the now Amy Klein-less Titus Andronicus opens. We’re going to go ahead and call it one of the year’s best shows.
