What a natural duo for a museum piece. Logical work, Guggenheim! While their abstract leanings would have made the pairing a natural for the space any old time, the show is actually presented as part of the institution’s "Divine Ricochet" series, which accompanies a retrospective of sculptor John Chamberlain’s sharp-angled auto parts explosions. The immaculately still and aching vocal work of both artists often blurs into ambient reflection. Which, we guess is meant as a counter to the industrial compaction? Quizzical work, Guggenheim!
