No, we don’t want to go to Terminal 5 either. But we’re going to, of course, because Guided By Voices, legends of the first wave of lo-fi indie rock, are back together for a show featuring their unimpeachable early work. They will drink tons of Budweiser, Pollard will do a bunch of leg kicks, and, if there’s any justice in the world at all, the entire new generation of lo-fi bands will realize they are all terrible. Now, excuse me, but does anyone know if there’s any talk of a Pavement reunion? God, that would be awesome.
