I feel like all I ever do in this column is tell you what we here at The L are planning to do next. It’s useful, I guess, since, in the absence of a stupid editor’s letter, and in light of the fact that no one anywhere actually reads press releases, there’s really no other way for us to share our news with you. And so it seems it is my cross to bear, and I’m mostly fine with it, especially when I get to tell you awesome shit like this: Next Wednesday, May 21st, we’ll be publishing our Summer Preview Issue, in which we tell you about all the great things you can do in NYC over the summer. Among them? Hiding in your air-conditioned bedroom reading books about other, less humid cities. But also? There’s tons and tons of outdoor music for you to enjoy, and we’re going to list all of it, along with many, many hilarious and descriptive blurbs.
5/16 Bishop Allen and War on Drugs at the Music Hall of Williamsburg
This one’s been on my calendar for weeks. Yours too?
