There is but one really, truly hott ticket to be had in New York City right now. It is so hott, in fact, that you can’t even buy it. Why? Well, it’s just not on sale yet. But it will be, soon. On June 5th and 6th, we’re hosting two nights of shows at the Music Hall of Williamsburg, billed as the New Music Festival, featuring many of the bands you’ve read about in the previous pages. Details are still being worked out, but we’ve already got confirmation from a whole slew of ‘em, and… AND we’re working on lining up some special guests, the names of which I guess we’ll try to leak to the blogs a few days before the shows or something? I don’t know. Not sure how that stuff works, but it’ll be awesome and cheap and you should totally come. Be sure to check out thelmagazine.com for more information over the next few weeks. But in the meantime, you’ll want to mark your calendar — not for one night, but for two: June 5th and June 6th. Got it?
Ok, I lied. There are a few other hott tickets, but in keeping with the theme of the issue, I’m only going to focus on the bands we featured:
4/23 The Lisps at Cake Shop
4/25 Your 33 Black Angels at Europa
4/25 La Strada at Union Hall
4/29 High Places at Southpaw
5/3 Team Robespierre at The Music Hall of Williamsburg
5/3 Famous Amos at Cake Shop
