Howler’s main man (can you call a 20-year-old a man?) Jordan Gatesmith kicks and screams and surfs his way through his band's Rough Trade debut, America Give Up, essentially positioning them to soundtrack a film set on a college campus starring Jonah Hill at some point within the next 12 months. NME named Gatesmith one of the "50 coolest people of 2011" and his other band is called Total Babe. He's the man (kid?), basically.
