Here are the Paisley and Tommy. I wanted him to hold it up like Lady Liberty holding her torch but we got our wires crossed.
Here we are enjoying the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ set together.
I was really hoping I’d be able to get a picture of someone famous holding it, but who am I kidding? Even if I had seen someone famous, there’s no way I would ever have asked them to hold my dildo.
We only took a couple of photos with it around the park, because I got pretty embarrassed after a couple of people shouted, “hey! Dildo!” at me. I assumed that people wouldn’t realize it was a dildo because of the context but if I can say one thing about the APW crowd it’s that they know a dildo when they see one, no matter the context.
I will leave the music reviews to the professionals here at The L, but I would like to say that All Points West was incredible on Friday. Bizarre Ride and Fever to Tell are two of the formative albums of my youth. They’re partly responsible for molding me into the upstanding, dildo-toting young lady I am today. So, getting to see the Pharcyde and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs meant a lot to me.
Plus, I never thought I’d say Jay-Z live, and dude fucking killed it (of course). Thank you Tommy, for the best birthday gift ever.
