Neither quite sculpture nor costume design, Morazan's medium of choice is the headdress, which he generally sports during the ritualistic performances that open his exhibitions, hanging the collage-like assemblages in the gallery. Removed from their performative context the pieces lose some vitality but also allow viewers to get up close to the messy clusters of materials and objects that he uses.
