In the first exhibition to so thoroughly explore contemporary Japanese fashion, from the 80's breakthrough of Yohji Yamamoto and Rei Kawakubo of Comme de Garçons to the cult of kawaii, Japan Fashion Now presents an eclectic mix of the cerebral and the street. Expect the high fashion of Issey Miyake and Junya Watanabe alongside manga-inspired cosplay looks, proving that avant-garde fashion is truly an art.
