The Bushwick-based painter creates incredibly detailed and powerful portraits and the sands away certain layers and areas to create strange, unexpected areas of color. Here, in her third solo exhibition at Like the Spice, she's working on a larger scale than before, still with minute detailing, and incorporating faint traces of neon colors in abstract geometric patterns.
