Josiah Wolf's recent solo record, Jet Lag, is a breakup album with 11 years' worth of subject matter preceding it. With such heavy baggage in tow, it's no shock that the lyrical content should be more focused than the scattershot images run wild in his brother Yoni's work for their shared band, WHY? The music itself is more narrowly focused as well, leaning towards folky chamber pop and leaving WHY?'s hip-hop curveballs on the shelf. Up for a mope, then, gents?
