Scenes that resemble nightclubs and strip joints with massive mirrors, neon lighting, bright costumes and plentiful skin become blurred abstractions in Moran’s mesmerizing oil paintings. Each image oozes sexuality and hints at the free play of body parts, and yet the abstract keep us guessing, titillating with an uneasy balance of violence and mystery.
