Because — news flash! — Brooklyn's music scene is awesome, as evident by Les Savy Fav diving head first, half-clothed (at least the singer) into erratic art-punk and the Vivian Girls playing melted pop songs tonight, BAM takes this annual opportunity to showcase an eclectic batch of the borough's brightest acts in their self-curated Sounds Like Brooklyn festival. It gets started tonight and continues next weekend in 15 venues scattered throughout Crooklyn.
