Letters to the Editor

No Politics. Just Praise

Mr. Lindgren,
Your review of Klosterman’s new book in The L Magazine (Klosterman’s Travels, July 20) is the best I have read. You are dead-on with your criticisms. Thank you for that!

Best,
Christopher Tonay

Dear Editor:
Much obliged for the very nice little profile of me by Francess Jaen in your June 8-21 issue. I was out of the country when it ran, and alerted subsequently by a neighbor who’d seen it.

Very together article, and well written Francess! Thank you! And I hope you’ll be happy to know that I’m still around, still writing, and have published a couple of poetry books since the memoir you read. You might like Rita (Bob’s wife) Marley’s memoir, too, which I wrote for her a couple of years ago. It’s out in paperback, and called No Woman No Cry.
Thanks also to Elias Ravin, who very kindly looked up the back issue for me and got it to me that very day. What an intern — bravo!

All good luck to your magazine, which I hadn’t noticed before, but will certainly from now on.

Sincerely,
Hettie Jones
