We once compared Lower Dens to Beach House on account of them both being from Baltimore and their songs being generally slow and kind of hazy, but under the distinct melodies on Lower Dens’ Twin-Hand Movement is a dark, moody current that couldn’t be more different than Beach House’s dreamy whispers. So, sorry about that Lower Dens. Your album definitely doesn’t remind us of 70s AM radio.
