Continuing his practice of creating elaborate paper cutout sculptures with spectacularly colorful and intricate forms, Velliquette’s latest series features masks, heads, totems and landscapes that evoke fantastical beasts and creatures equally liable to be at home in a children’s book, classical mythology, a primitive art collection or a cheesy horror movie.
