The Wisconsin-based sculptor's bright, Pop-toned, multi-layered and ridiculously complex paper cut-out beasts are quasi-mythological and comical. Alongside his usual birds, felines and lizards, this new exhibition features more abstract geometric forms with kaleidoscopic patterns, and a few experiments in black and white. Drunk on our local's craft night, we hack at construction paper with dreams of doing anything that could compare to Velliquette's superb 3D collages.
