The first production of T.S. Eliot's famous drama in New York in over 10 years gets a spectacular site-specific performance in this Prospect Heights church, directed by Obie winner Alec Duffy and with original compositions by Dave Malloy. The story, appropriately, concerns the final month of the Archbishop of Canterbury, Thomas Becket, who defied the English crown by siding with the Church. In the play, he faces demons, inner and outer.
