Leo and Nina are deliriously happy…until they get engaged. Leo finds himself falling out of love with Nina as she becomes engrossed with registries and floral arrangements in Cappelli’s satire of modern weddings.

Salt Air (Alessandro Angelini, 2006)
Angelini tackles an unconventional father/son pairing, in which Fabio, a prison counselor, discovers his newest patient is his estranged dad, locked up on murder charges.  Their conversations are unexpectedly candid, save for the fact that Fabio hesitates to reveal their relation.

Melliti weaves a tense psychological drama aboard a fishing boat, where two men find themselves increasingly suspicious and fearful of one another after a terrorist alert is broadcast on their radio.
