Beloved Downtown troupe the Wooster Group returns to New York (and inaugurate the BAC's brand new theater) with a new look at one of their seminal texts, James Strahs' 1982 Cold War military comedy set aboard an aircraft carrier full of weary uniformed men and women carrying out a super-secret mission in the titular frigid and barren region. A send-up of 80s militarism full of period details, politics (sexual and otherwise), songs and dances, this revival stars Frances McDormand and Maura Tierny.
