The music industry's annual migration to Austin this week for SXSW gives those left in NYC a chance to catch up on some local talent that might've mistakenly slipped past you. Nude Beach may look the part of a stereotypical Brooklyn band—there's ample flannel and facial hair, combined with the word "beach" in their name—but in pairing classic guitar riffs with irony-free admiration for Tom Petty, they certainly don't sound like it.
