NYCTaper Presents

Thu., Oct. 17, 12 p.m. 2013; FREE

And now for a good old-fashioned CMJ day party on Ludlow: This one, presented by NYC's resident live-show archiver NYCTaper, is especially appealing on account of boasting one of the festival's few appearances by Boston's Bent Shapes—a half jangle-pop band, half power-pop surge, whose first proper album, Feels Weird, picks at The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Unrest, Jonathan Richman, Real Estate and true Blue Album-era Weezer.
