Last year Variety pegged Elizabeth Meriweather as one of 10 screenwriters to watch, and Ivan Reitman will start shooting her recent script, Fuckbuddies (with a new title, obvs), around the time that she makes her return to New York with Oliver Parker!, a comedy about two best buddies separated by a couple of generations. 60-year-old Jasper (John Laroquette) wants to help his 17-year-old bestie Oliver (Michael Zegen) get laid, and the latter wants to keep his mentor from drinking himself to death.
