Seattle-born, Paris-based contemporary artist Oscar Tuazon presentsAmerica is My Woman, his third solo exhibition at Maccarone. Tuazon has mounted abstract prints to aluminum sheets and other structures and then distorted them with bends and punctures. The contorted pieces are largely black, some spotted with an orb of color, and are finished with a lacquered sheen that recalls an intriguing clash of industry and destruction.
