Here we have a stellar offering from this little town of ours, each band special and worthy of your attention. Capping off the night is the onslaught of zigzagging effects, and also melody, that is Parts and Labor — a band you should see at least once before they’re indefinite hiatus kicks in come February. Their cohorts in Pterodactyl, whose new album finds pop hidden in its crevices of mayhem, and post-punk Yeah Yeah Yeah protégés Hunters lead the way.
