There are two cheaper nights preceding New Year's Eve in which to see Patti Smith at the Bowery this go-round, but in terms of giving 2012 a classy welcome, you could do a lost worse for an extra 15 bucks. If you celebrate classy enough, the apocalypse won’t come, so take it seriously.
