Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson's 2004 Peter Pan prequel gets a swashbuckling, hat-switching stage adaptation from Rick Elice (Jersey Boys and The Addams Family), directed by Tony-winner Roger Rees and Alex Timbers (of Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson fame), in which a dozen actors portray about 50 characters, including Peter and the other orphan boys, the cruel sailors whose leaky ship ferries them to terrifying Rundoon Island, and the savages who live thereupon.
