Photos of Saturday Night's CHERYL "PopRally" at MoMA

March 12, 2012
CHERYL, the joyously avante-garde foursome of cat-mask-wearing, fake-blood-spewing, glitter-eating party monsters with the infectious, whacked-out video invites became the MoMA cleaning crew's worst nightmare on Saturday night. Their event, part of the museum's PopRally collaborative series, was an "interactive dance party" in conjunction with the museum's temporary Cindy Sherman exhibit; accordingly, there was no shortage of face paint, fake hair, mannequins, costumes—and perhaps more spilled-beer mayhem than MoMA's directors probably anticipated. (Rumor has it Sherman was in attendance. The artist/chameleon might even be... in this slideshow. We'll never know!)
