The four artists in this exhibition curated by Jay Pluck—Zoe Nelson, Julian Osti, Rachel Reese and Milton Resnick—attempt nothing less than to render that fleeting moment when the artistic process achieves the transcendent depth of divine world-making. So Julian Osti's videos combine sublime landscapes with abrasive text, Rachel Reese hints at a shared cultural vision in her prints of ubiquitous media images, while the late Milton Resnick let figurative details dissolve into string theory-evoking networks of enmeshed brushstrokes.
