To inaugurate the Brooklyn Museum's newly, painstakingly renovated 10,000-square-foot colonnaded first-floor hall, Brooklyn-based design collective Situ Studio has designed a series of abstracted, bulbous, canopy-like free-standing columns that play off the forms of the grand McKim, Mead & White space.
