Remember those stainless steel trees that appeared in Madison Square Park for several months starting in 2007 that seemed to be forever reaching out to each other, barely holding on to the tips of each others branches as some invisible cosmic force pulled them apart? Well, the artist behind that installation, Roxy Paine, has moved the metal arbors to the Met rooftop for a summer of shiny photo ops over central park.
