Sarah Walker: Edge of Everywhere

Mondays, Fridays-Sundays. Continues through June 27 2010

Jasper Johns on acid? Tauba Auerbach with nothing but neon paints? These might be ways to start the challenging business of describing Walker’s psychedelically colorful abstract paintings that could be anything from computer circuitry to spider webs or even microscopic cells. Whatever they evoke for you, it’s hard not to become drawn into their spectacular latticework that constantly confounds impressions of depth and interiority to the point that one’s vision becomes entangled in each net-like grid.
