The restaurant’s mission statement claims to skip processed foods in order to partner with local farmers, however, dishes like the Cold Asparagus Soup and Pesto Farfalle with Purple Cauliflower may not live up to the expectation of how good farm fresh veggies can be. Despite the disappointing food, SB3 boasts a corner location in the East Village with walls that open right into the street. With a list of seasonal drinks, a handcrafted ginger mojito might be the only necessary item on the menu.
