I think it’s about time we had something like that. The retarded thing about the Tea Party is that it was just working to make things worse—trying to give even more power to big business, when big business is why we had the recession, why there’s so much poverty in this country. I don’t think Occupy Wall Street will do much, but I’m glad that point of view is at least getting some attention.

I haven’t been paying too much attention to it, but I don’t really like protests. Complaining doesn’t solve anything. Instead of protesting, those people should be doing something. Running for office or something. Well, maybe not that, but something. Sitting on a street with a sign won’t change anything.

I have sympathy for the protestors, but I don’t know what they’re trying to accomplish. It seems like they’re mad at Obama, the Republicans, banks, the deficit… I even read about people complaining about food [Ed: i.e. Monsanto and factory farming]. I don’t know what they’re for or what they’re trying to do, but things are fucked up in this country and I hope they change something. Any change would have to be better than this.
