Well, this is just going to be incredible. It’s St. Vincent’s first show before her tour for Strange Mercy officially kicks off in October, and it’s taking place — as the first-ever concert in this location — on the rooftop garden of the Met. That means: The sweet, sweet, soulful singing of Annie Clark, cloistered by green hedges in the middle of a Manhattan panorama, performing (primarily, most likely) tracks off her beautiful (from what we’ve heard of it) forthcoming album. Idyllic? Probably. If you go, be sure to say hello to Jeff Koons’ giant balloon dog.
