We love backstage comedies and plays within plays, particularly when these involve having a smaller stage on a bigger stage, as is the case in Walter Corwin’s new triptych with original music by composer Arthur Abrams. In the first act, children in a school play about peace and reproductive rights destroy their production; the second features President Obama as a modern day Moses letting his people go (get free healthcare); and in the third a group of actors take the stage to perform as iconic New York landmarks including the ghost of the twin towers.
