It's all about love, family, cultural heritage and prevailing in moments of crisis in Manhattan Rep's summer-long festival of new plays. Several plays tackle the sticky details of modern love, others portray the complexities of immigrant experience, another takes a look at 9/11 from three different angles, while others use booze, travel and excessive volume to dodge the difficulties in their lives.
