London-based Sweet Toof's unique combination of sensibilities—being both a graffiti artist and an academically trained realist painter and sculptor—makes for an odd hybrid aesthetic whereby quasi-classical oil compositions referencing art history are made over with skeletal characters baring grotesque gummy smiles. At once macabre and playful, they're like a collaboration between George Condo and James Ensor.
