There’s nothing we like more around here than hyperbole—like, literally, there’s nothing we like more!—which is why we so enjoy putting together our annual best of Brooklyn issue. These are all the things we loved and hated this year, all the things that excited and upset us, made us laugh andbrought us to fear-induced tears. It’s been quite a year—full of political sea changes, public figures engaging in bathroom sex, female friendship, and normcore. So, join us in looking back (and looking forward) and see if you don’t agree: This past year has been the best and worst yet.
