Summer may be over, but in the heart of every member of The Donkeys, it lives on forever, like the Titanic. Over the course of three albums, the San Diegoan outfit has packed in country, blues, garage, surf and 60s-indebted pop, never letting things sound rushed or forced. Plus, sometimes they sound like Beck, which is never a bad thing, unless we’re talking about Midnite Vultures, which we are not.
