Most importantly, though, the traditional topless frolic in the Washington Square fountain was as robust as ever. One older couple on hand admitted to having just returned from being married in Connecticut, only to discover same-sex marriage only 30 days away from activation: "We couldn't wait any longer!" Well, now they can have a second wedding.
