Imagine NYC as it was 400 years ago, just before it was penetrated by Henry Hudson...the Mannahatta Project at the Wildlife Conservation Society did just this, and created a cool website detailing the ecology of our island way back when. The project's director Dr. Eric Sanderson leads a discussion on how we can use our knowledge of the past to help shape our ecological future. Reservations required
