For the many, many things people are feeling nostalgic for these days — from cassettes to, uh, the fucking beach or whatever — we have yet to experience any widespread yearning for the pop-punk-inspired emo that was so popular in the late-90s and early-00s. Hasn’t stopped The Get Up Kids from coming back, though, with a synthy, electro-pop-aping There Are Rules album. It’s not very good, but some of those old songs still are. Get ready for the "Oh Amy" singalong.
