Lit mag One Story, which publishes one short story per issue by emerging and established writers, hosts its first benefit gala. Young writers (or debutantes) will be escorted by a more established mentor or friend; everyone will dress pretty and exchange literary witticisms; and new artworks inspired by the mag's previously published stories will be on display after an auction immediately preceding the event.
