Our new media friends, colleagues and repressed inner children tell us that as e-readers and iPads become the norm, actual physical books will return to their rarified and revered Middle Ages status as vessels of sacred information and objects of aesthetic beauty. If so, this weekend-long celebration of beautiful, exquisite art books from presses, institutions, artists and galleries all over the world provides a glimpse into the near future. Real art books: come touch them, and be touched by them.
