Even though every high school civics teacher now has a little ink somewhere (small of the back, maybe?), there is still some room for the tattoo as an indicator of societal transgression... see what we mean at the 12th Annual NYC Tattoo Convention (May 15-17), where old-school bad-asses still take this shit seriously. They are also really good at Chinese characters.
