Curator Roxana Marcoci brings together photographs by over 20 sculptors and photographers, some shooting their own works (like Hans Bellmer), but many photographing pieces by other artists or found sculpture and architecture. The question posed throughout the works presented is to what extent the added mediation of photography changes the meaning of a sculpture or indeed supersedes it to become the primary work.
