Like mixologist, no one should use the phrase gastropub ever again. But in the case of Wilfie and Nell, we're allowing ourselves the slip, since this West Village newcomer does both pubby atmosphere and Guinness shepherd's pie so well. And also because we couldn't think of any other way to describe it.
