The summer theater festival season starts early at the Brick with these ten plays that deal, for the most part, with various and varying experiences of time. For instance there’s Chemistry, in which a man and woman meet at a bar and skip right over courtship and go write a play together; or Happily After Tonight, in which the fairy tales of youth are turned into horror stories; and RIP JD, an irreverent and licensing-free celebration of the life, work and death of JD Salinger. Also, a play about pig people kidnapping a little girl.
