An eclectic and notable lineup from musical director Philip Glass sets apart the latest Tibet House benefit at the legendary Carnegie Hall. Rocker/poetess/memoirist/legend Patti Smith shares a bill with performers as varied as My Morning Jacket’s Jim James and traditional Tibetan musician Tenzin Choegyal. The fun quotient is upped by the inclusion of beatbox virtuoso Rahzel, camp-pop cultist Ariel Pink, and the welcome return of Merrill Garbus’ joyful tUnE-yArDs.
